About Francis Dzikowski

Fine Art photographer Francis Dzikowski has photographed Seljuq Caravanserai routes in Turkey’s Central Anatolia.  Terraced mountains in the north of Yemen, the Hadhramaut and active volcanoes in the south.  He’s documented the crossroads of Syrian Architecture including Crusader Castles.  Ancient Roman ruins throughout Jordan and the Nabataean city of Petra.  Decorated tombs of the Kings Valley in Luxor, Egypt, numerous Theban tomb interiors as well as the mortuary temples of the Theban Necropolis.

Francis has been photographing for over 30 years.  Beginning with photographing his architectural models and drawings while studying architecture at Virginia Tech, continuing with street photography in Philadelphia while studying photography at The University of the Arts, then traveling the middle east while living in Egypt for almost a decade.  Currently, having lived in Brooklyn, NY. for the past 15 years, New York City has been a primary subject of his focus.
